Probably not but you need to do it gently so that will be ok because there is a small gap in front earpiece speaker and the protection grill and once you done that clean it with Motherboard cleaner like MBC or Isopropyl Alcohol for mobile cleaning so...

Try cleaning the earpiece front grill to have clean and loud voice with needle or a brush it will solve your issue surely
