Yeah it may cause like that also, for my old M51 phone also after few days only issue started. U gave install after downloaded the package or u scheduled the time
Did you gave update using mobile data and after package downloaded did you gave install or shedule after few hours???Some of them saying setting time to install update causes less heat in phone and that will prevent this issue.
