So I was able to resolve this with a solution I found online..Just switch off your device and connect to your charger. Once charging mark shows up, you can switch it on.
Same issue.. Even internet from wifi doesnt work.. I bet its to do with OneUI7 update. My charging port is also not working, there are severe lags after restarting phone for about 5 minutes..phone is unusable at that time :(
