Google Maps app is very unstable in the beta. It has been crashing a lot, sometimes making it unusable

I updated my device with the beta yesterday and since then the Dual instance of my whatsapp is not syncing with Google Drive and no media is getting downloaded. Has anyone else faced such kind of issue in this group?

I am trying to add an automation that if my WiFi gets disconnected turn on Hotspot. But the option to toggle it is disabled. Can someone help either with a better way to automate this task or tell me if this is an know issue and how to get past it?
