I think there may be an issue with the fingerprint setup on all the A16 devices, as a friend of mine is experiencing the same problem.

After that fix I realized that something changed with my device, like the gesture vibrations were turned ON which I never do and I decided to turn them off again , and the fingerprint stopped working after I did that.
