Galaxy NoteMy galaxy Note 9 has started giving a green screen out of no where since this morning. Its very surprising how the screen turned green with horizontal lines while I was using the phone. So no drop, nothing bump the phone was in my hand and was showing the normal screen and suddenly the the screen turned green. I have tried restarting the phone and the after a few restarts the screen becomes normal but after some time again becomes green.
I have tried looking for the solution on many other forums and youtube and came across that a lot of these cases are reported by many users all across. I doubt its an hardware issue as the display keeps correcting itself but its not usable since the screen has a lag and hardly anything can be seen due to the green tint. Anybody has faced this issue here and aware about any solutions for this seriously disappointing widespread issue in the flagship model within 1.5 yrs of purchase and that too without any external physical damage to the phone.

Galaxy Notei also visited samsung service center, first they refused that free of cost replacement is possible but after talking to customer care person they agreed to take it on basis if it passes water ressistence test, at the begining they opend my phone ans said everything looks fine, we will replace now they are saying my phone failed water ressistence test and it could not be replaced on free of cost, i am really disappointed in samsung, i wonder if any phone passed their water test or its just a gimmick so they can pretent that they are offering free replacement, i have used more than 5 flagship phone but i can assure that this is my last samsung phone.
bye bye samsung, at the end you cheated.

Galaxy NoteHi
I got same problem exactly on the day warranty expires. I bought my note 9 on April 14, 2019 on April 14 2020 (lockdown period) I got this problem. So I could not go to the service immediately. Then It was then and there. When i approached the service centre a month back they wanted me to take a video and pictures of the green display and IMEI number on my phone but I took some days to take picture video as it was not always and gave for service. Now I gave with the pictures and video to the service centre in Tirupur , Tamil Nadu. 15 days back they said will source component and send for approval and change it free of cost. Now after 15 days now they have come up saying they have made a water proof test or water jacket and it failed so can't change it free will cost Rs 12500/-. I have never dropped or bumped or fallen in to water. It's as good as new phone the service center has confirmed. No damage. But now they say there could be some leak in the water jacket so free replacement is not possible. If there is leak in water jacket out could be only of manufacturing defect. Why do they say it's not possible to change after 15 days. So like every one say it's a bug in the soft ware or hardware while manufacturing and they trying to cover up. But why do they ask me to change the display at the cost of Rs 12,500/- when every one has this problem

Galaxy NoteSo who is going to open the class action lawsuit? This is beyond absurd that Samsung is getting away with this! We have paid hundreds of dollars for their phones and when an issue like this happens, we are ignored and nothing gets fixed so someone needs to open up the class action lawsuit so they don't get away with this!
I am going to switch over to Apple after being a loyal Samsung customer since the Note 5!!

Galaxy NoteThe phone screen was greenish/yellow with dots in the beginning and then completely black, no light at all.
Tried all hacks safe mood and everything and then went to the service centre (local shops) they suggested the display is gone. A replacement can solve. Went to some other shops everyone told the same.
So, I changed the display spending almost $200 as this was a fav phone. Oh they didnt give any warranty though.
And now after changing, 2 days later i got the same greenish screen! I press the power button to switch off the screen and few seconds later it was back.
This happened several times in the last few days. But the only good thing is the screen came back to normal just after pressing the screen off then on.
I am not sure if it is a display or software!
Although as I understood the previous display was gone.
But I have a fear to lose this one as well.
Please suggest something.
I havent tried hard reset/factory reset or draining battery to 0% yet!
Thanks

Galaxy Noteon 31/12/2020 I received an update on Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
After installation of the said update on my device my screen turned Green.
When I visited Samsung Care Centre they informed me that Samsung Had Closed to resolve this issue from 31st December onwards.
Now how can I contact a Care Centre when the update itself was installed on the day when the said issue arises on my device and it being the last day to have a Support.
Samsung should resolve this problem at the earliest possible time and Not create an issue with users of their device.
Please fix this Bug and resolve this issue
