It usually gets fixed itself, if not maybe try keeping it off for some time and then start and see if the condition persists. If it doesn't fix take it for a warranty claim
From what I know, charging for shorter durations actually reduce the amount of battery wear, as the ions are under stress for a shorter period of time. Battery health is effected with every charge but shorter charging cycles have a reduced impact
