 never ever use thinner for cameras unless u have proper budget to replace it. the who gives u this idea he doesnt know anything about mobile fragile hardware.best for a user is to have scotch tape to pic dust not to rub

i would recommend to set all settings of the camera to Default first, then test

yeah risk for banking apps, but not that risky if done properly. ofcourse who has mobile flashing and rooting knowledge.if u need detail we can discuss this, i am also in mobile repair field we we provide software solution for mobile tabs etc.
