Galaxy Note 8 issues after July 2020 security update.

Very serious issues after July security update which was released today for India.

SIM card read error, No IMEI#, Cannot login to Samsung services. SIM manager freezing.

Require urgent OTA fix as I am without phone service now.

I do not think it's a motherboard issue. This should be resolved by proper software update via OTA or visiting service center. I just hope Samsung makes it OTA as visiting service centers  and standing in queue is risky. They should release the fix ASAP. If really the hardware has lost IMEI, then we need to visit service centers only. I suspect current software is not able to communicate with the chip correctly, but God knows....

Same happened with me . For the last 3 days I am not able to use my mobile

Never think Samsung is going to do things like that I have Samsung Note 8 just updated my mobile with July security patch and now it's not able to read any sim card and its not able to read IMEI number I had visited Samsung service centre and they have told me that they don't have any solution for this what kind of a company is Samsung is I am suffering from the last three days and they didn't provide me any solution but they are charging but I am suffering from the last three days and they didn't provide me any solution but they are saying that my motherboard could be damaged and it should be replaced or it's a issue god knows what Samsung is going to do now I want my phone working what to do now

Same issue happening with me. i think its a global problem. I hope they resolve it soon. but at first this  kind of problem is not expected from a company like samsung. Ill never go with samsung now.

A new upadte is released with csc version n950foxmcdtf1.  Maybe this going to fix issue i call the service center they say air 2 bje tak confirm ho jayega app tab akke kra lena me bta dunga

Bro tjis is not going to receive on ota we have to visit service center and i am going after 2 pm and let you know if this fix evey thing

Humm, phone will  be kept with them for 2 days then. You stay in Pune? One service center again told me that to contact them by 2 PM
