Galaxy NoteVery serious issues after July security update which was released today for India.
SIM card read error, No IMEI#, Cannot login to Samsung services. SIM manager freezing.
Require urgent OTA fix as I am without phone service now.

Galaxy NoteHey Pavan, Just came back today from Samsung Center in Pune at Pimpri they informed me the same thing and they are expecting the patch to be provided in next couple of days.

Galaxy NoteGuys, I just been to Samsung Service Center in Pune and the Center's engineer confirmed me with the build issue. He told me he spoke to head and a new binary will be rolled out at center by today evening. He asked me to come back that time and take the necessary data backup as the phone will be formatted. There was one more guy who faced the same issue and was with me at the center. What's the update from your respective locations? I am now back on my old Nokia to receive call as do not have a 4G spare handset at home. It seems like a lazy employee from Samsung India rolled out an update without verifying or testing it.

Galaxy NoteEven i am facing sim card not available issue ever since i installed this update.....this is very bad experince. Who will go to a service center in these times . .they shud publish a new update...which shud get updated through device....please Samsung Team....help fast on this...this has made the phone unusable

Galaxy NoteInstalling the July Security update completely messes up the network settings of your Note 8. I though this was an isolated incident and only I was facing it. But I can see that many people have the same problem.
Received an update on 28th, installed it and restarted phone, started having problems with network. Both the sims were not being recognised. I am tried to restart many times. But no use. Hence did a factory reset. The device booted up after the factory reset, the network issue was still not resolved. IMEI number is not visible and this is causing a lot of problems. Getting processing failed message whenever I try to login with Samsung account. Samsung please fix this bug ASAP.

Galaxy NoteYesterday i updated my Note 8 and since then its not showing any SIM card. No network at all, i tried to reboot many a number of times. I tried everything possible but it ll not show sim card manager. Today i took it to Samsung service centre and they are saying you have to spent 26000 rupees for new motherboard. I cannot imagine how pathetic their engineering team is, one update screwed entire device. If they aren't resolving the issue, then i am going to drag them to the consumer court. I cannot let my hard earned money go waste like that.

Galaxy NoteHave updated the July security patch to my note 8 on 28th July. after rebooting sim card not detected and 29th i visited Marthahalli Samsung service center and asked they are telling motherboad corrupted. needs to replace the motherboard.
Am not sure what i need to do now.
