Samsung is losing credibility, unfortunately πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘

These are the issues affecting the credibility of the brand right now.
1) s20 plus users facing display damage after software updates. There have been 30 plus posts about this very same issue on this platform itself.

2) The infamous Exynos 9611 mass failure. Hundreds of people have already reported the restarting issue due to motherboard failure here. Many are still reporting it almost everyday.

Now it's not about issue alone, it's about the way the company treats the customers who approach them with manufacturing issues. They are not acknowledging the problem. Service centers are trying to pin the blame/fault on the customers.
One cannot accept the situation where a flagship customer is forced to spend 15k to repair the device just after one year of purchase.
Similarly people who bought exynos 9611 based phones are budget users. It's atrocious to ask 8k from them to repair the devices just after 1 year of purchase.
These issues are evidently due to software defects/manufacturing defect. Why should the customers pay the price for company's fault?

It's sad that the responsible people are not even responding or giving proper replies. It's such a messed up and difficult situation for both the customers who are facing the issues and the company as well. I hope Samsung comes up with a fair solution.

Nb: Some of you who knows me might be knowing that I am someone who usually stands up for the brand in the face of illogical criticisms and mocking. But this here is a serious issue. That's why I am posting this in support of the fellow members who are facing these issues.

Bro, i was a samy fan too when i pre order Note 20 Ultra and was very happy with the overall performance but since the A12 update and implementation of UI 4.0. The main features like camera and performance hit below significantly. I don't like this camera setup anymore. The current camera quality is no where near the out of box experience. They improve and add many useless features but decrease the quality of main features.
Worst is they are not acknowledging the issues. Now updates are not on time and many more issues with each update.
Thats why not recommending any samy to anyone... Better buy a Chinese if they gonna treat us this way. Atleast they justify the price.

At last.. Not interested in this brand anymore.

Honestly scared to recommend Samsung to any family members now specially the older gen...and also scared to update the decice after warranty period.

I request everyone to submit a case with ceo desk.
Also tag samsung on twitter.
They seems to be blind, they can't see the 1000s of post on Samsung members app

September 2021 update ke baad Mere Note 9 ka display bhi kharab ho gaya....Phone ko 2 saal 10 mahine hue the koi physical damage nahi phone bahut top condition me tha.....Maine CEO ko email kiya koi faayda nahi hua....Fir maine naa chahte hue bhi naya display lagwaaya....Par aascharya ki baat ki naya display lagaane ke baad uske colors accurate nahi the aur kuchh hi dino me nayaa display bhi kharaab ho gaya.....Fir display warranty me hone ki vajah se maine phone service center me de diya.....Service center waalo ka kahna hai ki "blue color ki body waala display nahi mil raha company bhejegi to laga denge"....40 din ho gaye aaj 30 march 2022 ko phone ko diye hue....Maine head office me bhi 4 baar call kiya "display bhej rahe bolte hain har baar" par abhi tak koi solution nahi mila....6 mahine se mera Note 9 kharaab hai.....
Phone liya tha β‚Ή67000 me aur display ke β‚Ή14500 lage the β‚Ή81500 gaye mere.....
Samsung se bharosa utth gaya ab to.....

I don't think samsung is delivering good quality product in Indian market
As per samsung their flagship product like S/note series.
But in my 1.5 year use of my S20plus there is a vertical green line at middle of the display, witch came in regurlar use.


Some note user also facing sme issue, and for one of my friend his screen is blinking even completely goes drak af 30 to 1 hr use.IMG_20220616_184845_96328_1655385753.jpg

Yes bro. Facing issue with green line display in my Note 20 Ultra after July month software update.

Customer service and Samsung not supporting me. They ask me to pay for display.

I haven't done anything wrong with display.

My S20 plus has same issue of green line in center of the screen aince last 2 days. No reply from Samsung. Has anyone got the screen replaced for free. If yes please inform how so i get the same. My warranty period is over. My phone is just 16 months old. Bought at 70k INR

I am a student, My parents bought me a new S20 in October 2020 for 43k and I never dropped my phone there is like zero external damage to the phone, the phone had so many issues like battery drain over, overheating, And

Now suddenly after 1 year 9 months after buying the phone in July 2022 update, I saw horizontal black lines running through the phone screen. and one day suddenly the screen got white, I immediately rushed to the Samsung service center & there was no proper management in the center. they are asking 16k to replace the screen. and as a student how should I pay 16k for the problem I didn't do? And i haven't told my parents yet.

Good to see you took some precious time n posted the main complaints in a well detailed mannerπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ€πŸΌ, I too felt samsung is taking 5 steps forward then 10 steps backward along with ignoring already existing issuesπŸ˜‘, if possible make/copy this post on mainstream social media too coz I don't think any admin would take good notice here😐.

If samsung won't take care of these issues it would ultimately affect their business, simple as that. πŸ‘πŸΌ

I wish I had choice of keeping the older version. I am using this as business phone and work profile requires latest security patch to keep it enabled otherwise it get disabled and i am not able to access Slack or any mail on the go.
Every 4th of month it requires it that's why i invested in this phone for monthly security patches. Now, since jan they are delayed this is well. They are simply not keeping their promises. Its been hardly 18 months and they showing their true colors, i wonder what will happen to next 18 months as they promised for 3 years of monthly security updates. 😀

Oh I was unaware of the work profile thing. Then it should be seriously looked in to by Samsung. I think that's why people tend to use iphones for business purpose.

Ya, i admit, i made a mistake. This month, i am going for iphone only.. 13, 256... Won't buy any of this company. I am seriously regretting my decision. Even my friend insisted me for iphone 12 pro but donno why i took decision for this one. It was my first samsung mobile after 12 years and last one also. Earlier i had beat450 by samsung ... :(
