Display issue in S20+

My display suddenly turned green and I wasnt able to use my phone. When I went to service center they didnt even check the phone and told me my display  needs to be replaced  and I had to pay 15.5k rupees. I came back and did some research  and found that this was a software mistake of samsung. I was told to install a third party app ( OLED saver). Now my phone works fine. But if I unistall the app the display turns green.  This  issue started after I updated my phone. They should  fix it or either replace my display for free it's just been 1 year 4 months. But no they wanna charge money for their mistake.

I mean if an app can fix the issue,then it's definitely software. You should confront the service center again and show them with evidence that this is a software issue.
