Hello Members

Want to request you all to take 2 mins to read below and share your view-point on a few things. 

As part of a campaign to encourage our Members community to share their hobbies and passions, we have asked BAs to start the conversation by sharing their own hobbies, passions and other non-tech topics. 

Some active users have expressed that they feel this content is not relevant. This in OK, as long as the discussion remains civil. Many users have participated in this discussion properly.

But out of these, some (like darkvarder1) have taken things too far (example of a comment below)

• Users like this take every opportunity to blame Moderators when they get banned. But they are openly threatening other users who are completely minding their own business.
• They feel that communicating via memes is an effective mode of giving feedback, where many users and BAs are actively using the feedback section, sending error logs and participating in Beta programs. 
• They keep inciting others to fight with them on other channels like twitter and discord.

Do users like this represent you and your attitude towards your fellow Members?

Want to take your opinion on below 3 things - 

1. Should users like this be entertained, or be removed with zero tolerance towards violent threats?

2. Do you mind the occasional off-topic threads on the Members community? 

3. Do these threads make it difficult for you to find other relevant content? If yes, Would you prefer if there was a different sub-forum for such off-topic threads?

I would like to say just one thing that if you keep pointing towards people like this, and WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT THAT PERSON IS TRYING TO SAY, I am sorry to say that I never thought that the community of such a large company like Samsung cannot fulfill the needs of the users! And feedback, what will you do with feedback? Do you really do anything? I highly doubt. Because when this specific person got banned, you people were behind that, but other spammers are absolutely having fun in the community, go and check, and yes, these contests are irritating in between others' posts, where we cannot find an appropriate post for giving solutions.

1. These are not VIOLENT THREATS as you think of those, anyways, you are free to think. Justification?

2. We don't mind, but when it goes to an extreme level, we have to protest.

3. Yes, we need a different sub-forum for such competitions.

I hope this comment is justified and I know that I will be banned from the communityn but yes, if that happens, Samsung will be banned in our family, and out of twenty people in our family, eighteen of us use Samsung, that also multiple devices, and I don't expect this from Samsung.

And I am surprised to see that you are focusing on the one comment of the person, not on his contributions to the community.

I am the Administrator of One of the biggest Engineer group on Facebook. I also acknowledge such messages and comments on daily basis. There should not be any tolerance given to such comments which are offensive but the real advice or suggestion should be accepted. If a user thinks that BA super league is spamming the community and making the experience of members bad then it should be acknowledged and discuss at higher level. I don't support use of bad language in name of giving suggestions but at the same time I don't want to ban or shut the mouth of people who are raising voice for the whole community. As a BA its my responsibility to make atmosphere of community clean for every single user.

Dear..Avinav....I am totally saddened & Unhappy with what is going on this platform....Everybody is saying that Zero tolerance..Zero tolerance...zero tolerance !! This irritation would not have come to this level by many of users like me too, if you would have gone through Different Section for Such tasks or Day wise Assignment to BAs in Alphabetical Order for tasks...Since last time also I had discussions with you that at random pace these all post their Tasks in a one stretch, So many users are not taking interest in these at all...this you can check by the number of Views & likes on their posts...And agree or disagree varies from person to person...I can understand we should choose the words Carefully because you never know what hurts others, so I try to choose my words very carefully but if at any level it hurts anybody or You I apologizes for that...But these random posts are making unhappy to me also and even BAs are not supporting their own BAs by liking their posts except Very few, Are they ??? otherwise we would have seen at least 10-15 likes by BAs itself on the posts of their own Colleagues...And if This Blocking of Users is the only Option then please Block me too...This is my humble request....So that we also came to know that we are totally wrong when we believe that this is our own platform, run and maintained by Us.....And here Zero tolerance is for Everybody...And I condemned wrong or abusive or Words that hurts anybody's integrity, who so ever has used so...And if Blocking is only the option then I am not sure how many of us (like me) will be here, Since we are not associated with Samsung nor we are getting any benefit from Samsung in terms of Salary/Expenses/Cash reward etc.etc...It is only our precious time which we are giving to this platform without any benefit being as a NEUTRAL part of this Entity...Hence things should go smoothly else keep start Blocking us and do start it from Me... I'll be highly obliged then...thanks...

1. Such comments are unacceptable! Strict action should be taken against them. It may be one thing that you don't agree with someone's view or opinion but threatening them is just plain wrong.

2. No, actually off-topics are good for community, it lets everyone to connect and know each other better.

3. Yes, there should be an off-topic thread for this.

It would be really great brother if you realise your mistake, you're openly threatening on the community, that is just not right. And what according to you is spamming? Someone posting about something, If you did not like it, kindly ignore it or if you have some suggestions or feedback to tell, write about it. Be a mature person!

At any cost these kind of words are intolerable. However if the League is creating irritation amongst other users, then we can have separate section for such events. But expression or irritation is 1 thing and using threatening words is another.

1) Noones has any right to insult anyone. Just because someone can comment, doesn't mean he can comment anything and everything.
2)Insult plus threatening is not very good for the community
3)Always use words carefully, just because you are free to comment dosen't mean you can comment anything
