Hello Members

Want to request you all to take 2 mins to read below and share your view-point on a few things.

As part of a campaign to encourage our Members community to share their hobbies and passions, we have asked BAs to start the conversation by sharing their own hobbies, passions and other non-tech topics.

Some active users have expressed that they feel this content is not relevant. This in OK, as long as the discussion remains civil. Many users have participated in this discussion properly.

But out of these, some (like darkvarder1) have taken things too far (example of a comment below)

  • Users like this take every opportunity to blame Moderators when they get banned. But they are openly threatening other users who are completely minding their own business.
  • They feel that communicating via memes is an effective mode of giving feedback, where many users and BAs are actively using the feedback section, sending error logs and participating in Beta programs.
  • They keep inciting others to fight with them on other channels like twitter and discord.

Do users like this represent you and your attitude towards your fellow Members?

Want to take your opinion on below 3 things -

1. Should users like this be entertained, or be removed with zero tolerance towards violent threats?

2. Do you mind the occasional off-topic threads on the Members community?

3. Do these threads make it difficult for you to find other relevant content? If yes, Would you prefer if there was a different sub-forum for such off-topic threads?

Thank you in advance for your valuable feedback!

1. Threatening and bullying someone be it BA or Any normal user is not at all acceptable. We talk about taking actions against such people all the time and this is the time we do so. Banning them temporarily will be the right thing to do.

2. Till the time it remains in the Others Section. It should not be a problem at all.

3. We choose the threads we wish to see and read. If i prefer reading threads on S10 I will go to S series...and if i want to read tech related stuff I will go to Tech Talk...Hence its already well organized into groups...i don't see the need to have another Sub Forum other than Others.

1) Yes ,they shouldn't be there. They are only here to insult other, and for spreading hate.
2) occasionally ok,but for always,community will change their meaning/value.
3)i don't think, because there is already many main topic option.if someone wants some extra they can visit Google .If someone have problems with the Contest, then in that case I'll say yes make a seperate forum for contest.

This is serious issue and should be taken into consideration as soon as possible!!

1.) No, not at all !! Users like this will only hinder whatever any of the BA's will feel like doing. They should be removed because a healthy community should be kept safe from all such hate-mongers, so that other people can engage in here without any inhibitions!!

2.) No ways !! These occasional off-topic threads actually engage a user as well as the BA's, as we also get to enjoy something different from the same monotone thing, and that they get to see something different from the usual routine, as everyone deserves a sightful 👀 break, isn't it ?? Hence, I am absolutely in support of this 💯💯💯💯

3.) It doesn't make it difficult. But yes, if there would a different forum for such off-topic threads, it would be highly appreciated, as it won't affect any BA's morale on reading such degrading comments on their or anyone else's posts !!

I believe that a healthy community also depends on the level of spam in the community.

definitely removed with zero tolerance these things is not acceptable , if ur points are different then u can express it but not with the threat, u are always welcome with the different opinion and if u think that we are ignoring so u are wrong,
by seeing users profile his help is really good for the community so many users are following u if u post these kind of things then also so many users follows the same,

off topic discussion is welcome but not always, separate forum for contests is solution of it but threats are not acceptable

1.I will say yes to zero tolerance policy ,as if someone doesn't like a activity or anything, they can just give their feedback on it but threatening for that same reason is unacceptable .

2.I have no problem with the Members community ,when there is occasional off-topic threads .

3.I wanted to say this ,even though this BA super league were going on ,many of our BA's were helping the users by giving them solutions.

To make things better,I would prefer sub-forum for off topics
Community Guidelines
1. Whether it is BA or Members everyone is free to help people and share there own question and get the problem resolved , this means community. If someone is going beyond that and level of not corporating and going into abusing things should be banned immediately.

2. No , there should be occasional topics so that members get something new and interesting, everything on same line makes the life bored so there should be different things going on , which is good for all the members and the management is doing for us , we should be greatfull to them for working hard .

3. It does not make it that difficult but there should be a different sub-forum to make and maintain things easily.
