Galaxy Tab A9+ slow charging

I have recently bought Galaxy A9+ tab which is charging really slow it takes 4 to 5 hours to charge tab even though charging setting set fast charging. I have samsung original charging cable and charger. Looking for solution is it bug issue within android or hardware issue.

Same on my Tab S9 FE Plus. However, on my tablet, I think it is because I am not using a fast charger and it has a huge battery.

Galaxy A9+ has a huge 7040 MAH battery & doesn't support 45W charging speed. It only supports 15W, and that's why it takes so long to fully charge.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused following the recent OS update. To enable the fast-charge or fast wireless charge feature for Galaxy mobile devices, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings > Device Care.
2. Tap on the Battery icon.
3. Tap the Charging menu.
4. Select one of the charging modes below, based on the type of authorized fast charger you have:
- Fast charging: Enable this mode if you are using the Adaptive fast wired charger.
- Super fast charging: Enable this mode if you are using a wired Super fast charger.
- Fast wireless charging: Enable this mode if you are using a fast wireless charging pad.

To enable any one of the charging modes, simply tap the switch to the right side.

You are unable to use the fast charging feature or the super fast charging feature when you charge the battery using a standard battery charger. To use the fast charging feature, you must use a wired battery charger that supports Adaptive fast charging. To use the super fast charging feature, you must use a wired USB PD (Power Delivery) charger that supports super fast charging.

Same issue and same fix as aimoo reply below. Need to toggle fast charge off and on before it can charge at 9v instead of 5v.  Running latest software update. How do we escalate to support?

I'm also doing trick to charge my tab really fast. When I put my tab on charging, I'm setting off fast charging for 5 seconds and turning it on again it changes charging timing from 4 hours to 2 and half hours. Or charge it at any percentage it really makes a difference. You can find 1 to 1 and a half hours of timing difference. I don't know if this is right or wrong, or samsung needs to fix this bug.
