sold my old phone without encrypting it

Hey! So I sold my old s7 edge to a retailer. 

I deleted all the apps manually, logged out of all accounts and deleted everything.

After that, I also reset the phone using factory reset.

But I'm doing some reading online, and it says that encrypting the phone before selling it is important. 

I didn't know this and so I didn't do it.

Should I be worried about my data being retrieved?

Even if someone recovers ur data (although no one cares enough to recover data from a old phone) you can't do anything. So chill and relax why to waste your time worrying about a thing that MAY OR MAY NOT happen in future. 🙌

may some data can be retrieve even after factory reset also...thatswhy encrypts from security and location can be applied before sell a device..it's nothing but erase location settings, wifi,bluetooth etc.and credential certificate along with pin,pattern ,account ....but don't worry..you can do deactivate all this by using your old Samsung account remotely

but why you sold your device? s7 is really a great device..I have never seen so fast autofocus in note 10 also

s7 is still best device even in 2019 my uncle still use it . that device is truly a master piece device by Samsung every thing was there on the device fastest auto focus that is my favorite feature in that even though software is outdated but that device is truly a master device even s9 is weaker in front of s7 . man my salute to that device I dreamed about that device but never has the chance to get one . at that time I was in first year of my college my father didn't let me take that device. .

I actually upgraded to the s10. s7 edge is awesome. my dad still uses it. It also has great battery life. But after almost 3 yearsof using it, I wanted to upgrade to a newer device and it was my birthday so I grabbed the opportunity
