slow charging

My Samsung S9 is charging very slow while i am charging using by original charger and there is fast charging option also turned on? Please help me

how old your phone is bcs may be some app is causing this problem so you have to reset your phone

check running apps in the background and close the one that's not important. Turning off data or going airplane mode also increase charging speed.

First of all, make sure what's displayed on your phone when you connect the charger. Whether it's showing fast charging or cable charging.
If it shows cable charging the complaint can be because of 3 things.
1 faulty USB cable
2 faulty charger
3 faulty USB connector of your phone.
Try using a different cable and let us know the result.

i tried different chargers. even brand new as well. still same first it shows as cable charging then only changing to fast charging

Dear, when the charger is connected the device will first show as cable charging. With in 5 seconds, the phone will detect it's a fast charger and will initiate fast charging. All fast chargers supply current at 2 different voltage and amps. First it will send a voltage/amps of 5v/2A. If the phone is smart charging compatible then the voltage will be increased and amps will be decreased to 9V/1.6A. So all samsung phones will sometimes show fast charger as cable charging for the first few seconds.

You need to be worried only if your phone is not at all showing fast charging.
