I was a loyal user since many years. I never ever thought of considering some other brand for phones. But now Iam really fed up. 2 years back I had note 9 which had screen issues within 1 year of purchase. And I got the screen replaced as it was under warranty. Then the next year charging port stopped working. After that I purchased S23 ultra and now after the update again the wired charging cable is not working...I mean the super fast charging port not working. Slow charging is ok. I have tried different troubleshooting steps like using different cable with different adapter, clearing USB cache and main cache in recovery mode. Still the issue is same. Iam going to give the phone for service but THIS WILL BE MY LAST SAMSUNG PHONE. IF YOU KEEP ON RELEASING THESE KIND OF BUGS IN SOFTWARE UPDATE THEN YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE MAJORITY OF LOYAL CUSTOMERS. We are not buying a $1000+ flagship phones to keep on visiting the service centers.

Whoa take it easy. Tech fails happen all the time, even with Apple. I use many Apple products and they had numerous problems too. It happens.

I actually took it easy when the first problem occurred with my previous phone (note 9). The phone before that had many problems like restarting and lag issue also. I have had many issues before with Samsung, still I went with Samsung because it was my favourite brand and I just loved the spen.
I can tolerate battery drain or minor problems with the software update but a major hardware issue like this....sorry I cannot tolerate.
Now the phone will go for service and again I had to put those expensive curved screen protector.... Everything is not that easy.

On one occasion, I purchased a brand-new MacBook Pro from Apple, only to discover that the trackpad was malfunctioning. Consequently, I had to have it replaced. In another instance, I encountered an issue with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, which began overheating excessively after approximately one year of usage. These are just a few examples of the various issues I have encountered with Apple products. Another example is the MacBook Pros after 2016 with the butterfly keyboards where I had to replace the keyboard 3 times. It was a design flaw that Apple finally conceded and reverted back to normal keyboards after 2020.

🙆‍♀️ these many issues. When compared to that, my issues are not even near.
Luckily, I have got a warranty till Feb 25. Will use it till it's max. If everything goes well, will give it a try next time also. Because still that Samsung fan girl inside me is alive.

You are welcome. I am not a fanboy of either Samsung or Apple; I simply use the best technology that is available. For example, I believe that Galaxy phones are generally better than iPhones (with the exception of video), and that MacBook Pros are superior to Windows laptops.

When I took it to the service center in Sahara Mall they just did a reset (all settings) and ask me to go back if the issue still exists. The issue is still there. I will handover my phone within a couple of days. Will update the service order number then.
