Galaxy SHow to Fix the Moisture Detection Error (Step by Step)
1. Check for Actual Moisture
Just to be sure:
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the port.
Leave it to air-dry for 30 minutes, or use a cool fan (no heat!).
Do NOT insert cotton swabs or blow hard into the port — it may push moisture/dust in further.
2. Clear USB Settings Cache
A corrupted USB settings cache may trigger this bug.
1. Open Settings > Apps
2. Tap the 3 dots (⋮) and choose Show system apps
3. Search and select USB Settings
4. Tap Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data
5. Restart your phone
3. Force Stop Android System & Restart
This resets charging and detection functions.
1. Go to Settings > Apps
2. Tap 3 dots > Show system apps
3. Find and tap Android System
4. Tap Force stop
5. Restart your phone
4. Try Safe Mode
To check if the issue is caused by third-party apps:
1. Hold power button > Tap and hold "Power off" > Select Safe Mode
2. In Safe Mode, plug in your charger and see if the message appears.
3. If it doesn’t, a third-party app may be interfering.

Galaxy S1. Open Settings ⚙️
Swipe down from the top and tap the gear icon.
2. Go to "Apps"
Scroll down and tap on “Apps”.
3. Tap the Filter/Sort icon (3 lines or dots) in the top-right corner.
4. Tap “Show system apps” or “Show system processes”
A pop-up will appear — select “Show system apps”.
If you don’t see that right away, tap "Sort by" > "All apps" or similar first.
5. Now you should see all system apps (like One UI Home, Device Health Services, etc.).
