My samsung s10plus keeps showing moisture detected error every time which makes me unable to charge. It didn't get into water and I've also tried reset the phone but problem still persists
Could it be an engine problem?

it is software holes bro ...especially comes if someone simply update software by using mobile data or wifi....it's not recommended process because Samsung provides non A B partition Type Ota software not like other companies

Visit service center and flash the software again from there.
As you may have updated your device through mobile data/ WiFi, due to software glitch during update some file may have skipped/corrupted due the network fluctuations or slow connectivity .

Service centre technicians will help you for this .

Samsung always recommends to update your mobile software through Samsung smart switch via PC or update the latest software from service centres .

I hope this will surely resolve the problem If you are satisfied with my comment then please accept as solution by clicking the 3 vertical dots at my comments to help other users in Samsung Members app.

You I believe you, its a port issue and S series ports are non replaceable. Only solution is a INR 22000 motherboard replacement unless in warranty. Or INR 5499 samsung wireless duo pad 2.0 fast charger 12w.

I am planning to sell my Galaxy S10 on cashify soon(resale value is approx 10k-15k) though its still 51K on amazon😝😝😂

Just waiting for iphone 12’s launch(hoping it ll be launched by September)

Guys apart from this i would like to let you know that my father is using M51, my mum S9+ and me S10 and both S series set could not last more than an year. Though M series is yet fine. So i ll recommend not to waste money on samsung if you have a good budget, it ll be heart breaking to see their cheapest series outlasting more than the top end models. And aftersales behaviour of samsung is like one will never want to experience.

I did factory reset through settings last month but it still didn't work.
I noticed the error started showing when I updated my phone around June or July

then please visit service center and reflash firmware from them.....and remember...try to install software via smart switch neither mobile data nor via wifi.....it's because Normally if some water present in charging port then it will goes after sometimes by complete drying...but what you are facing that is not that ...it's software glitch
