I have been a long time samsung user for not less than 10-12 years.
Got samsung s21 ultra Exynos version i.e 12 gb variant pre-ordered.
It's overheating especially in camera app with mild camera usage with just clicking pictures.....not even recording videos.I used cpu monitor app to track the temperatures.
It always reaches 42-48 degrees C and above with mild camera usage to the point that camera shuts down with overheating message.
The metal frame adjacent to the camera bump heats up which is uncomfortable to the touch.
Dont know if it's a software bug or hardware fault. Is anyone else also experiencing the same issue?????
Shame on Samsung for manufacturing such inferior products i.e Exynos 2100 in India and not snapdragon.
If overheating problem persists, even after software updates, this is gonna be my last samsung and I will take all necessary steps across all social platforms to educate people not to buy Samsung.

just one observation, did you try to switch off the mobile data and try to use the phone? I kind of have the feeling that reduces the heating on the phone...(I need to test more) If that is the case, this could point to the issue with the chip.

Even though I switched off mobile data, it still heats up in camera mode. I have done in depth testing and it definitely heats up a lot in camera mode

same issue here! a mild chrome use drain the battery like crazy and overheat the phone.

it's a real garbage! I tried everything.

I come from a p30pro where the battery lasted way long that with the s21ultra and the phone never heated.

I don't know why people just blame Exynos without knowing the exact reason behind heating or poor performance. I literally made a post out of frustration today. Check that out first:

I don't blame you for being a samsung fanboy.Even I am one.

But when the customer spends his hard earned money for the flagship, he/she exects flagship level performance and not over heating.

Even the split screen view stops and the camera stops with a warning message from overheating

Please visit these links that proves overheating persists in S21 series for Exynos 2100 to which samsung needs to seriously think about.

Below are all the proofs of Overheating:-

I don't know if Samsung will rectify this over software update or it will start manufacturing new batches with better quality control..

But, people including me are dissatisfied and unhappy with Samsung at the moment because of this overheating issue.

So please acknowledge the fact that issues with  Silicon Quality for Exynos 2100 persists

I know everything you have said here. And I believe it will be resolved using software update, and please don't use the word "fanboy".
