Galaxy S2) The camera won't be good since this is not an actual premium model and is not loaded with features.
3) They have Exynos and that's the reason for overheating, specially if you are performing heavy tasks.
4) WiFi and Network connectivity depends upon your SIM and WiFi and specially your location and not the phone itself.
5) It's still lighter than the Ultra models which are about 225 grammes but it depends upon personal preferences like some people prefer heavy phones and some people prefer lighter ones. Please note that lighter phones have many disadvantages as well.
6) As stated earlier that this is a (fan Edition) and is not an actual premium model. That's why these devices do not get updates with their same higher level devices.
Hope this helps. Thank you. 😊

Galaxy SPrice Drop Issue – I paid ₹45K, and within two weeks, the price dropped by ₹10K. That’s not a small amount! Other brands also launch devices at a premium, but such drastic price drops right after launch are frustrating for loyal customers.
Camera Quality – Even if it’s a Fan Edition, Samsung markets it as an S-Series device. The camera performance is below expectations compared to other phones in this price range (OnePlus 12R, iQOO 12, Pixel 7a). Other brands offer better sensors, better optimization, and better video stability.
Overheating – Yes, Exynos is known for heating issues, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that other brands manage thermals much better. The S23 FE gets too hot even during basic tasks like watching videos or using social media, which is unacceptable.
Network & WiFi Issues – I’ve used the same SIM and WiFi on other devices, and they work fine. The problem is specific to this phone, meaning it has weaker antennas or optimization issues.
Weight & Build Quality – Heavier than necessary for its features, yet not premium enough to justify it. Other phones in this range balance weight and build quality much better.
Software Updates – Samsung promises 4-5 years of updates, but delaying One UI 7 while competitors roll out faster updates is not a great experience. Google and OnePlus are much quicker in software support.
The issue isn’t just that it’s a Fan Edition—the issue is that it doesn’t justify its price compared to competitors. If Samsung wants to compete at this price point, it should provide better performance, camera, and thermal management.
I’m not hating on Samsung—I just expect better value for the money I spent.

Galaxy SSame applies for the S-FE models too.
This much of overheating might be due to background processing which is definitely the major cause of overheating. Regarding network issues it is better to have a word with Samsung customer support. Regarding updates I do agree with you but as I said that FE models are the last one to get the update and that can't be changed.
Usually devices purchased online or even offline from third party retailers have defects. So, it is better to buy any device offline from the Samsung Showroom.
The camera quality might be or is inferior because of it's price.
FE is mainly meant for those people who want to enjoy S Series in lower amount. The price can be a bit lower but since it has very few premium features as that of S Series the price might not get reduced a lot. However, they must not treat FE series like this in the future.
If I missed anything about that price drop, it might be due to the platform and the date and year from when you have purchased.
