Hi folks! I was just checking my DRM info and found that my s22+ shows a widevine l3 instead of l1. I checked in netflix as well as DRM info app and both confirm this. Netflix also shows HDR capabilities as none. Can someone help? Anyone else noticed/facing this on their S22 devices?
Check the screenshots below.

I can confirm. I did not check it prior to this, as such I didn't knew. It's weird samsung pushed such an update. Screenshot_20220804-190356_Netflix_29772_1659620036.jpg

Exactly. Shouldn't be happening at least on their flagship products. Wonder where's the quality control.

Update 1 @ 4th Aug 2022: As suggested by @Roshan5 I tweaked the process a little bit; Uninstalled Netflix, updated all applications from galaxy store and restarted my device. Upon restart, I headed over to galaxy store and installed Netflix from there. Post that, I checked and DRM info showed, L1. Logging into Netflix and going to Playback s
Specification also showed L1 and HDR 10 - HEVC. Thanks! Image attached for reference.

However, my point is still valid that why can't such bugs be checked at least for the premium lineup? Why can't quality control be more strict, thorough and efficient?Screenshot_20220804-221005_Netflix_20186_1659631205.jpg

This fix is just temporary, I have been doing this fix since the july update. But after few days it again happens. Dont know when will it be fixed . If anyone knows a permanent solution do tell. This is irritating.

Okay. Sad to hear that but for me it has been working fine after that restart. Have you lodged a complaint with customer care?

It works for me too but after few days or sometimes weeks it happens again.
And Yes I have reached them multiple times. Infact last time I went to the service centre there the engineer told me that this is the first time they are seeing this issue though. They did a full factory reset. And after few weeks it again happened. Then I contacted tech support but no help. Lastly I just shared this on samsung india's twitter page and then someone from samsung called me and asked me to again visit the service center. Will be doing that on 16th
