S9 plus charging problem

I have a Galaxy S9 Plus I am using the original charging cable cable on one side of the cable the phone fast charges but on the other side of the cable the phone shows cable charging 

I have fast charging enabled in settings 

When I try to connect the phone to my computer it connects and disconnects  rapidly

I have never dropped my phone into water but one day suddenly moisture detected message started popping and after that all this is happening 

I have tried other cable that came with my S10 plus

But it was of no use 

Please help me if someone had a similar issue

it has in built fan and it will let phone cool while charging.

this is issue I am facing but no worries I have wireless charge it help me worry less about the cable charging

getting a wireless charger is not a solution ..

human have two kidney both do the same task , so according to the previous user comment can we use just a kidney cause another one is malfunctioning.. thats not a solution . every one dont want to carry a wireless charger everywhere


the user confused because in quick panel instead of showing remaining charge time and fast charging it just showing cable charging , RIGHT !!!


there is no issues . it just a notification under quick panel menu that you are connected to charger .. it happens you need not to worry

post the snapshot after following the given below instructions

dial *#0228# and post the current value and average values in both conditions

means connect with both side each time and each time do check the values and post the screenshots

second thing you can do is

reset the battery and charging module

install ADB in your PC than open developer mode in your android , adb instructions are available in android.com how you can connect adb with developer mode for your phone

after adb connection established with your phone execute this command

adb shell dumpsys battery reset

this will reset and recalibrate the entire charging , port and battery module

bro I am giving advice that the device has wireless charging support and where on this earth are you comparing tech with the human body seriously

xdgone thanks bhai... it shows remaining time but it fast charges on only one side of cable while on otherside it shows cable charging

lolz .. comparison with logic .. You should remember that when charger showing issue while using USB than there must be a solution given specific to the issue not an alternative to ignore the issue
