Dear Samsung Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with Super Fast Charging 2.0 on my Samsung S24 Ultra. When I plug in the charger, it initially shows Super Fast Charging 2.0, but after 2-3 minutes, it reverts to regular charging. I have confirmed that my Samsung adapter and cable are functioning properly, and I’ve also tested with my brother’s Samsung charger, which yields the same result. I believe this may be a software issue.

Please address this problem as soon as possible with a software update or provide guidance on how to resolve it. Thank you for your prompt attention.

Best regards

Same problem for me too. If your phone gets too hot it automatically switch to regular charging mode. Just cool down your phone and again try. Your phone will now be charging at Super Fast Charging 2.0 mode.

Yo bro, I'm charging in AC with room temp between 18-24°C, but I'm still facing this issue. Any other tips?

For me, it happened two times while my phone got too hot. I just put my phone into the refrigerator 😂 to cool down. After 5 mins again I put charger the problem was gone, phone charged at SF2.0 mode.

Putting your phone in the refrigerator is generally not a good idea.

Condensation Risk: The cold environment can cause moisture to condense inside your phone when you take it out into a warmer environment, potentially damaging internal components.

Battery Damage: Extreme temperatures, even cold ones, can harm your phone’s battery, reducing its lifespan or causing it to malfunction.

Component Stress: Rapid temperature changes can stress the phone’s components, leading to potential hardware issues.

If you’re trying to cool down an overheated phone, it’s better to turn it off, remove any case, and place it in a well-ventilated area at room temperature. If you have a specific reason for wanting to put it in the fridge (for an experiment or cooling it briefly), keep it in a sealed, airtight bag to minimize condensation, and only leave it in for a very short time. However, this is still not recommended.

Yes. I know, bro. Just I switched off my refrigerator for some time. Put my phone on a tray inside the fridge.

Just cool down your phone in any other way... then try again...
