Galaxy SI’m extremely disappointed with the experience I’ve had with my Galaxy S23 Ultra after installing the One UI 7 update.
Just after updating, my phone became completely unresponsive and dead. I immediately submitted it to the authorized Samsung Service Centre for inspection. They confirmed that there’s no physical or water damage, yet they told me the motherboard needs to be replaced for nearly ₹40,000.
Even more frustrating – my request was closed without any resolution or escalation, leaving me helpless with a dead flagship phone.
This is unacceptable. I’ve been a loyal Samsung customer for years, always choosing the Ultra series and recommending it to friends, family, and colleagues. A motherboard failure in less than 2 years, without any physical damage, right after a software update pushed by Samsung – how can this be the customer’s fault?
Also, the phone has over 2 years of personal and irreplaceable data, including precious photos and videos of my children, now stuck in a dead phone.
Samsung, this is a clear product fault caused by your update, and it should be repaired free of cost. We, as loyal customers, deserve better.
Requesting the community to support and Samsung to take immediate responsibility.
