Here are some steps you can take to improve battery life on your Samsung S23 Ultra after a recent update:
* Check Battery Usage: Identify apps draining the battery. Go to Settings > Battery and check the battery usage history. If an app is using an excessive amount of battery, you can try restricting its background activity or uninstalling it if it's not essential.
* Optimize Device Care: Optimize your phone's settings for better battery life. Go to Settings > Battery and Device care > Optimize now. This will adjust various settings like background activity and network usage to improve battery efficiency.
* Enable Adaptive Battery: This feature learns your app usage patterns and restricts battery usage for infrequently used apps. Go to Settings > Battery > Adaptive battery and enable it.
* Adjust Display Settings: Reduce screen brightness and turn off features like Always On Display if you don't use them frequently. Go to Settings > Display to adjust these settings.
* Consider Power Saving Mode: If you need to conserve battery life significantly, enable Power Saving Mode. This will limit background activity, reduce performance, and restrict some features. Go to Settings > Battery and turn on Power Saving Mode.

To address the battery concern, we recommend performing additional troubleshooting steps to identify the root cause of the issue. These steps may include:

1. Update Software: Ensure that your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:
   - Step 1: Go to Settings > Software update.
   - Step 2: Tap on Download and install.
   - Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Setup Phase: Your new phone’s battery may initially drain faster as you set up applications and features. This is part of the setup phase, and background operations are optimized during this time. Allow a few days for all background operations and syncing to complete.

3. 5G Service Impact: While connected to a 5G network, your phone may consume more battery than usual due to the high-speed processing of large-capacity data. Consider optimizing overall usage and adjusting background usage limits.

4. Optimization Steps:
   - Open Settings > Battery and device care > Optimize now.
   - Adjust Background usage limits: Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits.

5.  Use adaptive battery: Settings > Battery and device care > More battery settings > Adaptive battery.
