So I've been using Galaxy S21 FE 5G (Exynos) for a couple of months now. Recently I updated my system to One UI 6.0 via OTA.

There are many videos on YouTube who will say how good One UI 6.0 is as compared to One UI 5.0. All the new features and all. But no one tells the negative side of the same.

After a couple of days of usage, here are couple of things which is a led down for me.

1: Pixel shift has stopped working completely. Not only on notification shade, but also on AOD.

2: Quick toggles in quick settings has been moved upward towards the 1st half of the screen, Wifi and Bluetooth buttons has been permanently fixated on top and quick toggle of Wifi and Bluetooth has been removed. Less used feature which are Smart View and Device control has been moved down. This has led difficulty in using 1 hand operation which is a major led down for me personally.

3: I'm not a streamer but I am a heavy game. I play games a lot, almost all day long. While the good thing is that the phone is not getting as hot as it used to, but the phone is definitely slower than earlier. Playing games like BGMI or CODM for more than 30 mins results in heavy frame drops and lags. Not to mention all the big titles have locked their frames at 60 fps for this device.

4: Somehow it feels the battery life is reduced as compared to earlier. The phone is getting drained faster than before and taking longer to charge up. Also, the new feature of battery protect every YouTube reviewer mentioned is missing.

5: I happen to have Galaxy Watch 4. The compatibility of Watch 4 and One UI 6.0 is really really bad. Samsung Wearable app is failing to sync the watch properly. Even when the watch is connected, I get the sign of device not connected on my watch.

6: Wifi speed and stability has been reduced. My family members using same wifi on other devices are not facing any issue but I have been facing a lot of random disconnection and fluctuation.

7: When switching swipe direction quickly, the phone fails to understand the swipe. (If there are multiple apps running in background and you start swiping to scroll and then suddenly swipe to another direction to close running app, the phone will keep scrolling the list instead of closing the app. A pause of 1 second is required for phone to understand change in swipe direction).

8: I'm using screen gesture instead of navigation bar. The device is failing the understand back gesture a lot of times when I swipe from either corner of the device. Sometimes I have to swipe multiple times to go back, sometimes I have to lock phone screen and unlock so I can use gesture properly.

I'm not a camera person so I don't use camera much. Can't say anything about camera without using it.
All I can say is, the camera was average earlier amd it still is average.

Buy a new phone instead of living with a phone with these many issues. I have the same s21 fe and not faces any of your reported issues.

Maybe you don't know how to identify a problem. For example, pixel. Shift has been disabled for every device because it is a feature missing from One UI 6.0

Thank god i found this since i have been facing issues mentioned in point 3 and point 6. I assumed it to be isp fault. But now i feel it must be the phone causing nuisance
