Edge lighting not working when the screen is off on my S9

Heyy guys, I need a help with this. I'm not getting any edge lighting notifications when the screen is off. I am getting them only when the screen is on . The option is set to "always".

check the power saving settings.. if u have switched on Restrict background usage your Edge lighting wont work

Power saving is off. Normal messaging notifications are shown through edge lighting but not apps like Instagram or WhatsApp.

It's a software issue. Third party apps will not show edge lighting when screen is off, but all built in apps like SMS, Missed calls, etc will show edge lighting even when screen is off

It is turned on but there's no edge notifications showing up on the lockscreen.

Hi dear, edge lighiting have issues with third-party apps. There are no solution for this issue at this point. Samsung is aware about this issue and sure they will find a solution for us.

edge lighting supports apps such as insta whats app and messages. But there is an issue, the edge lighting does not work when the screen is off for insta and whats app. anyways it works for messages app while the screen is off becuz its not a third party app and is built in where as whats app and insta are third third party apps.

i saw in my friend mobile it's work even screen is off also for WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS & etc., my friend device from Philippines. But gulf region set is not working when screen is off....
