Delete message from notification screen

On S24 Ultra, and maybe for all other latest S smartphones, the option for "delete" sms is not there and it only shows "mark as read" option.  How to get the option to "delete"?

Maybe you are using Google messages instead of samsung messages

You can delete an SMS on your S24 Ultra by following these steps:

1. Open the Messages app.
2. Find the SMS you want to delete.
3. Click and hold on the SMS message.
4. A menu will appear with options; select "Delete.
