Folks,
When I click to download an app on the Play Store very often I get a constant message saying "waiting for wi-fi" while the wifi is actually well connected. Thus I am unable to download the app(s) 🙆
This is clearly an error. Any help on this will be highly appreciated.
Thank you 🙂

Delete updates for playstore and reinstall the updates again.

Open play store > settings > general > app download preference, do it to "on any network".
If your problem solved by this, click on 3 dots on my comment and select accept as solution.

@falkonder After doing this, just clear Play store from recents tab and reopen it.
