galaxy note 8 sudden green tint issue

Hello guys ive been using note 8 for 2 years now never have i ever dropped it last night i went to sleep the phone was okay in the morning i woke up i was this greenish tint on the phone suddenly i tried restarting my phone and the note 8 logo appeared in white then suddenly a green tint takes over what the **bleep** is wrong?? Samsung plz look into it and provide me with assistance my phone doesn't have any physical damage and from the looks of it i think its software issue plz show me a way to fix it as its my daily driver

it's a routine problem which develops in the display after using any Smartphones for specific duration..

but many users are reporting the same issue suddenly also the screen is normal on always on display

it wont resolve its an issue pushed by Samsung i spoke to their executives they said its a software issue but the service centre says hardware issue i don't believe the service centre since they didnt even inspect my phone if youre have the same issue plz write to Samsung some note 9 users got free replacements but they're not providing us the same

Hi, this is a hardware issue, not the software one... these tints tend to develop on the displays after 1.5-2 years of usage

i fixed mine by flashing an older firmware version, i can guarantee this is not an hardware issue

I'm also facing the same problem starting today at about 1100hrs it was fine at 1055hrs when i was watching a series at Amazon prime and i switched to WhatsApp to type a message, bang..! green tint..! starting logo of Samsung is also greenish but Always on display is not affected.

i am still having the issue and seems like samsung isn't going to fix it at all

when my device got hot the screen would go greenish and lose some colors, i had to always leave it to cool and shut it down with the power key, press the screen to turn on Always on display and the tint would get removed but it would come back within seconds if the device was hot. Happend to me after an update can't remember which one though. i couldn't find a solution for a while,literally nothing was working not even factory reset until i got really annoyed at the screen and decided to flash an older version firmware which did fix it but sometimes still happens (very rarely and only if i turn the screen on and off very fast) now i can game and get it really hot and the screen stays colorful and beautiful.

forgot to mention that i also decided to root the phone and change the kernel, not sure if it makes any difference though, just try using older firmware
