Have been experiencing random green tints, drop in resolution and black lines in screen after the march update as have many others across the globe... Pls fix this.

Thank you :) but as per international forums april update does not seem to have solved the issue. I was hoping to get a reply from Samsung representative that the issue is known to Samsung tech team and they are actively working on a resolution. Because all the forums say that Samsung reps official stand on this is to take the phone to a service center to get the issue checked. Amidst this lock down I dont think it is feasible and also considering that this issue is likely to be software related an over the air fix would be very much helpful.

And as per checking this forum, I have and only saw one similar post that was reported by an s9 user and not the note 9. So I was seeking note 9 users in india who are experiencing this issue so that it can gain some traction.

Please be assured and to resolve "Display " issue kindly follow the given below steps:

1) Check device in Safe Mode:
Press and hold the Power key, when Power off icon appears > Press and hold the power off icon.
To exit safe mode: Restart your device.
Note: Your phone will restart after the update is installed.
2) Reset the device and before resetting the device make sure to create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
Settings> General Management> Reset.

 

If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report/ask question).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.

Pwm free app from xda and oled Saver from playstore seem to have fixed the problems to some extent. Pls try them out. Meanwhile this proves that the issue is software related and Samsung tech team should work actively to find solution for it.

There is significant overheating on using mobile for short periods of time also... This march update has really made using the phone unpleasant.. Pls fix this Samsung.
