Hello,
Good day.

I have been using my galaxy note 10 plus for 10 months now. And I am currently facing a problem with the S pen.
1.) It won't connect. Always keeps disconnecting. And when it connects it does not show proper information like battery information.

Any fixes please help!

UPDATE JAN 13 2022 :- THE Replacement of S pen is also behaving the same way. I think the device is burning the battery of S-Pen. And samsung knows this and still keeping quiet. If we sue samsung for selling a faulty product under guise of new product.... it will be fun!

[ UPDATE ] I have sent it to authorized Samsung service center. they confirmed it was a faulty S Pen but did not specify the reason why S pen failed all of sudden and for replacement S Pen it costed me INR ₹ 3101/-
I honestly think that even the replacement S pen will not work after 10 months. they did not address the issue and did not investigate the reason for failure of S pen.
its useless buying Samsung premium devices after a year or two I will buy different brand.

Been using my note 10 plus for about 3 months. I barely even use the pen but after the latest software update I had several issues encountered with my unit. My pen got disconnected and won't reconnect despite several attempts to reconnect it as per instruction seen on the phone.  Along with this issue, my phone had trouble connecting to wifi. I had to be beside the router for it to connect.  When I'm using data and try to use the unit as a hotspot for my other devices, it won't turn on the hotspot.  I did a whole bunch of reset and factory reset with hopes to get rid of the problem but with no success. Two days ago, I finally decided to bring the phone to the my network provider who also sold me the phone. They tried to troubleshoot it but turned out unsuccessful as well. They referred me to the service center.  I left the phone at the service center. They called me after about two hours saying that they will have to change a phone part  that is broken that is the cause of the problems. I did not get the details of it. But since shipping is a bit of a mess these days. It might probably take some time for the part to come in and have the unit fixed. I asked them if they could instead replace the unit since it is obvious that this isn't a factory defect. Phones don't get broken with normal usage only.  It is very unusual for it to be broken since I have been taking good care of it.  The service center said that Samsung will have to decide whether they would replace it or just fixed it. They forwarded my case to Samsung Philippines at their Manila office to decide on that. Yesterday, we got a call from the Manila office of Samsung telling us that they will just have the phone fixed.  It seems like that isn't really their way of dealing with factory defect issues with regards to their phones. It is very disappointing. When you know that you're phone have had issues already and have a greater possibility that the issue will crop up again in the future due to a faulty part.  I guess this is where Samsung really fall short when it comes to their products, their after sales customer service.  With their company slowly taking in a big slice of the cellphone market, it won't hurt their company to replace factory defective phones but would definitely put a positive impact on customer service.  It is not uncommon for products to have factory defects, that is why people created the warranty for factory defects. But to just have the unit fixed, it would mean that the customer is now going to own a factory defective unit which will now give a very bad impression of the company.  Other companies chose to upgrade their customers when the company is aware that the problem is caused by their own company. I sort of expected a successful company as Samsung to do the same, but as I said, I am very disappointed.

Samsung after sales service is very poor and especially their engineers or repairman are very inexperienced.
They literally melted my camera unit when I given them to replace usb port.
Since my device was under warranty at that time I got free replacement else I would have paid for their own mistake. They also did not seal my device properly after fixing the back Glass came out in just 2 hours.
The spare parts are also of very poor quality especially display replacement unit.
I can clearly see what's underneath the display, fingerprint sensor outline etc...
I would rather not buy self proclaimed so called samsung premium segment devices anymore.
I am thinking of switching to Google pixel. Since Apple is not available in my country at least officially.

NOTE :- SAMSUNG NEVER DOES DEVICE REPLACEMENT AS PER THEIR COMPANY POLICY THATS WHAT AN EXECUTIVE TOLD ME AT SAMSUNG AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE. THEY WILL ONLY REPLACE THE SPECIFIC PART AND GIVE IT TO YOU IF YOU RECEIVED A FAULTY DEVICE.

The only way to get this issue solved is to keep reporting it to Samsung CEO. Use below link to lodge a complaint. You will get a call from their office, explain it to them. They'll ask you to visit service centre, but even they have no resolution. So we need to tell them to solve it via software updates.
