Very serious issues after July security update which was released today for India.

SIM card read error, No IMEI#, Cannot login to Samsung services. SIM manager freezing.

 

Require urgent OTA fix as I am without phone service now.

This is pure software issue. Samsung need to fix this. No way motherboard need to be replaced. If that is the case, I ll suggest everyone to root the phone and reconfigure IMEI's via other tools. But, I am confident Samsung will fix this software glitch.

Samsung is greedy AF. Just pray if roll out a fix. My usb port stopped working a few weeks ago and show moisture detected. They asking 3000 rs for a port replacement. Battery replacement quoted 3000 as well.

Right Afzarul. I just received the notice. I hope they roll out an OTA fix for this instead of us visiting service center. Please keep us posted.

Just received an urgent Samsung Cloud update, but seems like it has nothing to do with ongoing issue. I updated, but nothing happened.
