Galaxy MDear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your query, we want to inform you that 5G network service may not be available depending on the network conditions of your mobile network service provider even though you are in the 5G service area.
The mobile network service provider will continue to improve 5G network quality through gradual coverage expansion. 5G devices may experience increased battery consumption and higher heat generation compared to LTE devices when used with high-speed data processing, especially with applications that require more power. If a 5G device heats up, the device's performance may be limited and the network signal may change to 4G to prevent overheating.
In this case, please wait for the device to get cool down for a while and then use the device again. If the 5G device gets cooled down to a specific temperature, the device will connect to the 5G network again.
Furthermore, kindly follow the below given steps to resolve your network and heating issues.
Galaxy device heating issue: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/why-the-device-heats-up-during-use/
Galaxy device network issue: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-optimise-network-...
You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.
Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.
If the issue still occurs, please visit the service centre for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
