Galaxy M1. Automatic Switching to 3G:
* Device Incompatibility: It's possible that your M04 might have compatibility issues with the specific 4G bands used by BSNL in your area, particularly the 700MHz band. While your neighbor's OPPO device works fine, the M04 might not be optimized for this frequency.
* Software Bug: There could be a software bug or glitch within the M04's firmware that causes it to intermittently drop 4G connectivity and revert to 3G.
2. Outgoing Call Issues:
* VoLTE Instability: The initial failure to connect outgoing calls on 4G might be related to VoLTE (Voice over LTE) instability. VoLTE allows for high-quality voice calls over the 4G network, but it can sometimes experience glitches or delays in establishing a connection.
Troubleshooting Steps:
* Software Update: Check for software updates for your M04. Samsung occasionally releases updates that address bugs, improve performance, and enhance compatibility with different networks.
* Network Settings Reset: Reset your network settings. This will clear any saved network configurations that might be causing interference.
* Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
* Safe Mode: Restart your phone in safe mode to see if any third-party apps are interfering with network connectivity.
* Power off your phone.
* Press and hold the power button until the Samsung logo appears.
* When the Samsung logo appears, release the power button and immediately press and hold the volume down button.
* Your phone will start in safe mode. If the problem disappears in safe mode, a third-party app is likely the culprit.
* Contact Samsung Support: If the issue persists, contact Samsung support for assistance. They might be able to provide further troubleshooting steps or suggest a software repair.
* Contact BSNL Support: While the issue seems device-related, it's worth contacting BSNL support to rule out any network-specific problems in your area.
Additional Considerations:
* Signal Strength: Ensure you have a strong and stable 4G signal in your location. Weak signals can sometimes lead to network drops.
* SIM Card: Try using a different BSNL SIM card in your M04 to see if the problem persists.
By following these steps, you can hopefully pinpoint the cause of the issue and find a solution that allows you to enjoy a stable and reliable 4G connection on your Samsung Galaxy M04 with your BSNL SIM card.

Galaxy MEven after resetting mobile network settings 🙄 as you said this is due to BSNL 4G compatibility issues with M04 only samsung can do anything by pushing an update for BSNL 4G compatibility.
