Galaxy M31S.. automatic Hang and restart problem

Can anyone help to remove the problem.. my phone is restarting several times automatically since many times. Some time the screen will freeze while restarting showing Samsung Galaxy M31s name..

It's better to buy any new mobile other than spending 8k on that.

I would suggest throw your phone and never buy Samsung. I had same issue. I went to Samsung service center, they replaced the motherboard and 3 days after... Boom! Phone started restarting again. Now again I have to go to service center.

Never buy Samsung!

I got same problem with my m31 s
They are not covering it under warranty

I faced the same issue and I've managed to fix it.

• Connect your phone with USB-C cable which is connected to your PC
• Shut down your phone
• Hold the volume up and power keys until Samsung logo shows up, followed by which you will release the keys
• Wait for the phone to boot into recovery mode
• Use your volume down button to scroll down to "Wipe cache partition" area and wipe it
• Reboot device
• Profit

Never buy Samsung mobile

My Samsung Galaxy M31s is facing same problem of restarting from 25th October 2021 exactly after expiry of warranty period . Even after factory reset and deleting all apps, the same problem persist. Service center told to replace motherboard at the cost of 5500/-., but the warrant for motherboard is only for 90 days. There is IC flash problem identified which heats up and restarts again and goes into boot loops.

Whether anyone changed the motherboard and whether phone working fine after changing motherboard????????????

Kindly suggest whether to go for changing motherboard or dump this problematic phone???

Samsung should take the responsibility of this issue...

Otherwise just stop buying phones from Samsung.

• I think I have managed to fix this.. Tried everything for around 2 weeks to finally get this phone back to normal..
• I had tried wipe cache partition, deleting apps, factory reset, software reinstallation from service centre.. But nothing worked.. They asked to change mother board,which I didn't do..
• What I observed over these 2 weeks is that the phone restarts during the peak hours of my work.. N the phone gets very hot..n once it restart, it keeps restarting at least 10 - 15 times.. N stops only when I keep it aside.. The restart frequency is very low when I am back from work.. If u too have observed the same thing, this fix might work for u as well.
• Do everything possible to reduce the heat buildup.. First of all, I stopped fast charging (in battery options).
• Secondly, reduced cpu performance (in power saving settings)
• Finally, stopped using backcover..

All of a sudden the phone stopped to restart.. Now it has been 5-6 days.. Not a single restart till now..  Pls try it.. N if it works, share with others..
