... Samsung should have fix this issue
Hi All,

I got Newly Samsung 31s on 13th August and I started using it, From Starting I keep observing how much time is taking to full charge the mobile as 25w fast charging is available, My observation are below:

1.First 2 or 3 times of full charge of mobile from 20% to 100% took 1 hour 50 minutes of that 20% to 60% in hour and the balance from 60% to 100% is 50 minutes.

2. Afterwards from subsequent full charge of mobile from same 20% to 100 %  started taking  2 hours 20 minutes, By seeing this i am shocked........why it is taking this much long time to charge when compared  to 1st Full charging of mobile...?? of this 20% to 60 % its same old time that is 1 hour and the balance from 60% to 100% ot is taking 1 hour 20 minutes...Even I tried in multiple ways like Charging mobile in switchedoff mode and sometimes I alsotried to charge mobile in flight mode but horribly its raking 2 hour 20 minutes to charge mobile...Mainly I observed it is taking a very long time of 1hour 20 minutes to charge from 60% to 100 % and charging very very slow....

Samsung company giving 25watts charger and claims battery can be charged in 90 minutes but it is practically taking 140 minutes to full charge whyyyyy ?????

It seems to be there sre some bugs in charging

Kindly fix them

Also the battery  is draining very very fast....

If anyone using Newly released Samsung m31s share your views regarding above...

You are right but If software is issued then everyone will have the same problem on their phone. Isn't that so? Is everyone having the same problem?

Try these things to save your device battery
1. Settings >developer option >background process limit >choose no background process
2. Disable auto sync
3. optimise your device often using with device care app
4. on device care app >battery >3vertical dots >settings > put unused apps to sleep
5.Disable always on the display >if u don't use,
6. On the device care app>battery >disable background process which apps consumes most the battery
7. Turn of Gps, Bluetooth when not in use

doing this things can may help your device battery last longer

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

To resolve battery issue kindly follow the below given step:-

- Battery optimization:- Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care>Optimize>Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory

For more information on battery drainage please click on the link below:-
http://www.samsung.com/in/support/skp/faq/1101689

Samsung customer’s safety is on top priority that is why this concept is introduced with logic that whenever handset temp. or ambient air temperature goes up to certain set limit, then device automatically restrict fast charging or even some time stops charging. But post device temperature reaches to normal after cooling down the set, then automatically set starts charging normally.

Note:- Kindly turn off the handset for 5 minutes to cool down and recheck.

If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report/ask question). Kindly send us the screenshot (which apps are consuming most of the battery).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.

Thank you for writing to Samsung.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
