This might be the proximity sensor. Your best call is to first backup to smart switch, reset the phone (factory), and restore your data using your PC's smart switch.
Take this to Samsung direct. Don't try your luck with third party repair shops as it's a new phone. Go to samsung and show the problem. If they cannot fix it, then try getting the sensor replaced (your best option).
@adhisreeAs said at the SDC24, Samsung said that One UI 7 will launch alongside the S25 series, and the S23Ultra will be second in line to recieve the update. Expect it in January.
