Hello everyone, I have a GW4, 40mm Bluetooth, and was purchased in 2021. These days, after the One watch UI 5 update, I'm getting a maximum of 8 hours of battery life with the watch on power saving, and with AOD off, also without almost any usage. This is a real problem for me, as I need it for my sleep and also wear it during the day. When it was 2 years old, it still provided a full 24 hours of battery. So should I repair it? Or should I just upgrade to the Watch 7? Please give me advice either on how to get a full 24 hours out of it without factory reset, or if I should upgrade.

I use Watch 4 Bluetooth 44mm.
I don't think battery life improvement is great in a watch 7 Vs Watch 4

If you reset it, won't it ultimately update itself again? How long have you had your watch for?

Perhaps you could investigate the option of a battery replacement? I'm not recommending it, just saying you could investigate that option too, cost-wise.

As I said, I have had it since 2021, and I'm seeing a battery replacement, but that (in the uae) is a third of the price of a new watch 4.
