Query regarding 'pull screen down'

I have enabled an additional handle in One hand operation plus. There is an option called 'Pull screen down'. When I did the gesture, I see two icons on top of the current screen - A radio-button like icon and a lock icon. What does the lock icon do? I have fiddled with it but couldn't figure it out.

I tried to take a screenshot but they were not coming in the screenshots.

They will come. Try this. Open members app, then do this gesture. Then lock it. Tap on outside, still it will go to full screen. This is not the case when you have locked it while you are on home screen and then opened members app.

If you unlock it then tap anywhere on screen outside and inside both
Pull screen down will closed

This will happen everywhere in an app
And homescreen

Yes but if you lock it, the function will only work if you have locked it while in homescreen before opening any app.
