Query regarding 'pull screen down'

I have enabled an additional handle in One hand operation plus. There is an option called 'Pull screen down'. When I did the gesture, I see two icons on top of the current screen - A radio-button like icon and a lock icon. What does the lock icon do? I have fiddled with it but couldn't figure it out.

I tried to take a screenshot but they were not coming in the screenshots.

This lock icon lock the screen at you pull down the screen when you tap on screen multiple time and lock off then you tap one time then screen come in normal way

The lock icon is off then you pull down screen and tap one time the screen come in normal way and look icon is on then you you tap multiple time the screen not come in normal

Okay. I got it but it is not working as you said. When I tap outside the screen, it goes full screen, doesn't matter if the lock button is pressed or not.

Pull screen down and now don't tap on lock icon>open any app>it will open in full screen

Now tap on lock icon and open any app>it will remain in one hand mode or small mode

However, if you do press the lock while inside any app, it doesn't do anything.
