Does imei number change after motherboard replacement ???

Yes ofcourse, It does, But be sure get it changed only authorised unless you can get in trouble

No IMEI number will not be changed .
IMEI number will be same even if motherboard is changed because change in IMEI number will affect warranty status of the device afterward .
So samsung service people
they rewrite your old phone's IMEI number to new motherboard .

I am sure because I have replaced my S6 Edge motherboard in warranty period .

IMEI number is the number to detect the sim card . changing motherboard will only change the mac address of the phone which is of 48 bits . the first 24 bits represents the manufacturer ID and other 24 bits represents the vendor that is selling it normally samung.

don't get confused if mother board is changed the imei no. get changed and they provide the acknowledgement of change which you need to keep till it's in warranty...Note : only authorised service centre
