What does this 'other' contain?

After I had factory reset my mobile I had a look over storage analysis and found this. 

Is that usual one? 

I was also asked for this

I didn't tick the check box. 

Is this fine?

This is the data used by many apps which are hidden. Only way to remove this is factory reset.
Also in the second image uncheck the box as it installs unwanted apps to your phone. Also disable App Cloud from Settings.

I also feel the same. Photos ,videos taken by camera take huge space . 5mb for pictures and 100mb to 700mb for videos of 10- 15secs. Though it depends on megapixels of cam , but for samsung devices it occupies more storage in comparison to others mobiles
