Product Model Number: AR50F19D15HNNA (SAMSUNG 1.5 ton 5-star 2025 model)

Upon inspection, I noticed two hollow spaces in the bottom slots of the evaporator coil, which are devoid of pipes or U-bends. I would like to inquire whether this is a standard engineering design for this particular model or if it constitutes a manufacturing defect. If anyone who has used the same AC unit could kindly share their insights, I would greatly appreciate it.

Based on your description, this could potentially be a standard design feature, as evaporator coils are often designed to optimize airflow and refrigerant flow rather than filling every single slot.

The design might allow for specific airflow paths to maximize heat exchange efficiency. The absence of pipes in the bottom slots could be intentional for drainage or airflow management.Without seeing the specific layout of the coils, it is difficult to confirm if this is a defect or a design feature. It is highly recommended to contact Samsung customer support with photos of the specific area to verify if this is normal for your model.
