Samsung as well as all other smartphones comes with a very useful feature called Recovery mode. It lets you perform tasks like clearing cache, wiping data, and factory resetting the phone to fix some severe problems like overheating or system lagging.

It even lets you install the update packages directly from the phone’s storage or sideload from a computer via ADB. This is a very helpful feature that lets you perform various tasks on your Galaxy smartphone.

Samsung has changed the process of booting into recovery mode after the One UI 3.0 release. The new One UI 4 and One UI 5 running phones do not allow booting into recovery without connecting your phone to a PC with a USB-C cable.
