I know all people are very disappointed with Samsung for not providing timely updates but Samsung does really deserve to be blame here...well I don't think so, If there's someone to blame here is not Samsung but the "Beta Tester". Yes, the "Beta Tester" who had the job to report or provide feedback of bugs & other issues to Samsung to develop a stable & bug free Software (Firmware)...that's what they meant to do during "Beta Program" & in my opinion they did not do their job best...they failed to give proper feedback to Samsung which would've helped Samsung to build a stable & bug free Software & we wouldn't have to wait this long for an update then...
I don't know what the f**k were they doing during "Beta Program"...all those Mo***rf**ker (Beta Tester) were only enjoying the new Software & did not provide proper feedback to Samsung to build a good software...which was the main purpose of "Beta Program".
So nothings here to blame Samsung in fact I think they did their job best & still doing best to provide a stable & bug free update to their customers.
Compare the progress of S7 series firmware with the latest firmware for Note5/ S6Edge+...
The latest Nougat firmware for Note5/S6Edge+ has less bugs & issues with nice performance compare to S7 series' buggy & laggy firmware.

Samsung know their job & doing their best at it...

But why they are not providing the resolution changer to s6 series.. That feature would have been awsome which could nullify the mediocre battery provided to galaxy s6

dude...do u have any idea about software development...do u have any knowledge about it...??
Only a Software Developer can tell what difficulties they face while developing a software...it's not an easy task as it seems...sometimes while fixing a bug they encounter some other new bugs after fixing previous...so its very frustrating & hectic job...think before saying anything which U have no knowledge about it...

Given the source code of nougat update for European version of the same model, is it hard to port the code to indian version ? If its hard for them, they should resign as early as possible.. Cz there are more deserved developers who developed stable custom roms in India

Beta Program was only for S7/S7 Edge .... not for S6 ..... even if we suppose that the OS for S6 is buggy then how other countries are getting that simply means the Software is ready .... only the Language may be the issue .... how much tym they will take to change and rollout the update

It's just a sales strategy nothing else. Samsung has never ever released new updates for their year older flagships. Updates are rolled out only after new flagship is launched. This time Samsung had a great pressure after Note 7 fiasco. It's reputation was at stake. So it started rolling out Beta Test for S7 series so that people don't blame it on this particular matter. I am not saying Samsung don't need time to optimize the updates, they do but we people can see that early launch of Nougat for S7 is still buggy. And if we talk about s6 series, what I think is Samsung never cares for a 2nd old flagship, we are being treated well as nougat is confirmed for us. Ask Note 4 users, they recieved marshmallow but still they had minimum changes, this time we are getting a complete UI overhaul but the thing that is annoying is delay in launch of S8 as a result of which delay of launch of software updates. If S8 would have been launched at MWC Barcelona we might have recieved the update. On 29th March S8 will be released so may be we see the update in first week of April. Release of nougat for devices in Turkey is the only thing that is going against all the assumptions. Let's hope for the best.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 began in Turkey last week and now the software is hitting Note 5 handsets in markets including United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, Israel, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan, according to SamMobile.

Handsets are receiving the N920CXXU3CQC7 version of the software, which will take the Galaxy Note 5 from Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to Android 7.0 Nougat. The 1.3GB update will hit handsets wirelessly. It requires a Wi-Fi connection and fully charged battery to download and install.

i have a s6 and i know it is very good smartphone and best at that time and still is very good compare to other but if we didn't get support from them what is mean that buying flagship device?
they were late for nougat in November and started beta program for s7 and edge and they said that s7 and s7edge will get anroid 7.1.1 nougat update directly and they will skip 7.0 version and now what they are only given 7.0 with buggy! good work btw
