I know all people are very disappointed with Samsung for not providing timely updates but Samsung does really deserve to be blame here...well I don't think so, If there's someone to blame here is not Samsung but the "Beta Tester". Yes, the "Beta Tester" who had the job to report or provide feedback of bugs & other issues to Samsung to develop a stable & bug free Software (Firmware)...that's what they meant to do during "Beta Program" & in my opinion they did not do their job best...they failed to give proper feedback to Samsung which would've helped Samsung to build a stable & bug free Software & we wouldn't have to wait this long for an update then...
I don't know what the f**k were they doing during "Beta Program"...all those Mo***rf**ker (Beta Tester) were only enjoying the new Software & did not provide proper feedback to Samsung to build a good software...which was the main purpose of "Beta Program".
So nothings here to blame Samsung in fact I think they did their job best & still doing best to provide a stable & bug free update to their customers.
Compare the progress of S7 series firmware with the latest firmware for Note5/ S6Edge+...
The latest Nougat firmware for Note5/S6Edge+ has less bugs & issues with nice performance compare to S7 series' buggy & laggy firmware.
Samsung know their job & doing their best at it...

We understand your concerns related to Samsung device upgrade. We will provide this feedback to relevant departments so that better upgrade policy can be attained for customers. But, meanwhile, we would like to advice on three key aspects:
- Samsung plans to provide Nougat upgrade to many devices (after S7 & S7 Edge) in 2017. S6 & S6 Edge is planned to receive very soon. Samsung can't confirm any date until decided as mobile market is highly prone to changes & very competitive.
- With many devices to upgrade & appreciable inbuilt new features, Samsung assures priority for customer service both on terms of quality & timely update.
- Samsung continues to most Trusted Brand in India under "Consumer Durables" category. Please check http://brandequity.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/business-of-brands/most-trusted-brands-2016-brand-ranking-category-wise/56761714
With respect to above points, we would like our customers to continue to keep faith in service & mobile product quality.
