I added some applications like Gallery facebook in secure folder and I thought these apps are secure now but these apps were still available on main screen without any pattern or pin I was able to open them. What type of security this is. How to lock these apps properly as there is no s secure in the device.

See secure folder is not your app lock. Its actually work space app. So if you want to lock any app install it inside secure folder.

If you just need app lock install app lock from do mobile its good app I have used it earlier.

You need to notice that if you add any app which is already installed on your mobile, installed app is copied into secure folder, original app os still accessible outside secure folder. I have added 2 screen shots for more clarity.

1st one is main gallery. Which is accessed outside secure folder. It will show you pics from internal storage.
2nd screenshot is of gallery from secure folder. you can view pics which are there in secure folder only.
See the difference in pictures shown

Application in Secure folder are completely independent of the applications outside the folder. Thats why its there. Secure folder gives us extra layer of security. If this advice work mark this as solution by tapping 3 dots in corner.
